Wunmi Tells Father-in-Law “You Can’t Manipulate DNA Test” As SAN Withdraws From Case

Wunmi, the widow of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has spoken out again as the controversy surrounding the DNA test for her son, Liam, continues.

In a recent vent she shared on her Instagram story, Wunmi expressed frustration after another Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) reportedly withdrew from the ongoing DNA case.

She directed her message to her father-in-law, addressing what she described as continuous delays and attempts to manipulate public perception.

“Another lawyer, a whole SAN, has withdrawn from the case. To my father-in-law, you can get as many lawyers as you want from anywhere in the world, but one thing is certain, you cannot manipulate this DNA,” she said.

Wunmi stressed that she has never opposed or declined a DNA test and has always cooperated with authorities since the case began.

“We have cooperated from day one. We have never opposed a DNA test. We showed up. We waited. We followed the law,” she added.

This latest uproar comes in the wake of a court order restricting public commentary from Baba Mohbad, Yomi Fabiyi, Bukky Jesse, Larry Omodia, and Adewale Mariam from making statements or inciting remarks about Wunmi and her son Liam for one year.

She concluded by reaffirming her faith in truth and justice, stating that no one can manipulate the court or science, and expressed hope that the truth would prevail for Liam, for Mohbad, and for justice, as November 11 draws near.
