Fortress, the daughter of Mrs. Naomi Isiza, the Assistant Headmistress of Christi Angels Elementary/Nursery School, celebrated her second birthday just two months ago.

It was gathered that Mrs. Isiza was riding her motorcycle with her two children on their way to school when she accidentally rode into an uncovered drainage at the junction of Deeper Life Street off Old Lagos/Asaba Road in Boji-Boji Owa, adjacent to her school, and they all fell.

In an instant, Fortress was swept away by the floodwater.

Witnesses rushed to assist Mrs. Isiza and were able to save both her and her son, but baby Fortress was missing.

According to Ika Newspaper, the location, known for being a d3ath trap, has claimed many lives in the past including that of a primary four pupil, Favour Chukwuemeke, on November 3, 2023 due to hazardous flooding created by heavy rain.

As of the time of this report, little Fortress remains missing, despite intensified efforts to locate her.
