NPFL: Bosso denies rumours of resignation from Barau FC

Barau FC Technical Adviser Ladan Bosso has debunked rumours that he resigned from his position, DAILY POST reports.

Bosso was rumoured to have quit the Maliya Boys last week following their poor start to the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season.

However, the experienced tactician was on the touchline as Barau FC secured a 2–1 home victory over Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday, their second win of the season.

Bosso dismissed the speculation, stating that it was never in his character to abandon his team during difficult times.

“You know Bosso is somebody that is never perturbed, no matter what. I have never, in any way, resigned. There’s no way I will resign from a team that is at the bottom of the league table — it would mean I came to push the team down and run away,” Bosso told reporters after the match against Kano Pillars.
