NPFL: Boboye set to replace Odigie at Bayelsa United

Kennedy Boboye is on the verge of taking up the vacant technical adviser role at Nigeria Premier Football League,NPFL, side Bayelsa United.

According to reports, the Prosperity Boys management have reached an agreement with the 51-year-old tactician to replace Monday Odigie who resigned from the post last week.

Odigie parted ways with Bayelsa United following a series of poor results in their last five matches.

Boboye managed Akwa United in the 2024-25 season.

He won the NPFL title with Plateau United and Akwa United during the 2017 and 2019 season.

Boboye has also managed Heartland, Sunshine Stars, Abia Warriors and Remo Stars.
