APC weaponises hunger against Nigerians – PDP chieftain Ogidi

The National Vice Chairman (South-South) of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Emmanuel Ogidi, has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, of weaponising hunger against Nigerians.

Ogidi made the accusation on Wednesday while appearing as a guest on Prime Time, a programme on Arise Television monitored by DAILY POST.

“APC has used hunger to weaponise the people, including members of the PDP. People are so hungry now. We all know why PDP members are defecting, but we have a strong belief they’ll come back.

“Some of these governors, senators, or whatever you call them don’t have patience, that’s the truth. Our convention is in November, less than three weeks. Why think that it would not hold?

“Yes, we are in court, but why lose hope that the court would go against the convention? If you have done the correct thing, the court will give you justice. So I don’t know why people are worried. I am not worried because we have followed due processes,” he said.
