Anambra decides: Soludo wins own LGA, Aguata with landslide

Governor Charles Soludo has been declared winner of the gubernatorial election in Aguata local government area of Anambra State.

Soludo is the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.

The result was announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Sunday in Awka.

Soludo scored 35559 to defeat his closest rival, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who scored, 4125.

Meanwhile, the Labour Party candidate, George Moghalu scored 124.

Soludo is contesting to secure a second term in office as the governor of the state.
