‘New Nigeria beckons’ – Lauretta Onnochie reacts as Jonathan meets ADC leaders

Former media aide to the late ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, Lauretta Onnochie, has reacted to the meeting between ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Onnochie, who said those in the meeting are not saints, noted that it would be good for Jonathan to join the ADC coalition.
Jonathan met with ADC’s leadership at the residence of the party’s Interim National Chairman, David Mark, in Abuja yesterday.
Reacting, Onnochie posted on Facebook: “This looks good. This is why we are in the coalition. Not as saints.
“Those who have led before, made mistakes and have learned from their errors would definitely be great for the future of our nation.
“Pres. Goodluck Jonathan has done well since 2015 working with Pres. Buhari as our envoy to West Africa.
“It would be good to have him join @Sen David Mark, Atiku Abubakar, Rauf Aregbesola, Rt. Hon. Chibuike R. Amaechi, Mr. Peter Obi, Nasir El-Rufai, Abubakar Malami, SAN, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba – HCN, etc., to rebuild our nation. A new Nigeria beckons.”
