All Eyes On Keffi! VP Shettima, Sultan, Top Emirs Celebrate Emir’s 10 Years On The Throne

Many personalities graced the 10th year anniversary on the throne of Keffi Emirate by His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr Chindo Yamusa III in Keffi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The personalities includes Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Saad Abubakar III, Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, Emir of Fika, Alhaji Abali Muhammad Abali and many personalities

Vice President Shettima, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Dr Umar Modibbo, ‎congratulated the Emir noting that the ten years on the throne is long enough for leadership to be tested and for its impact to be clearly felt.

He further said that the nation requires leaders such as the emir, whose leadership is guided by service to the people and fidelity to constitutional values

‎According to him, “Your reign has coincided with critical period in our national life. And you have risen to the responsibility with wisdom and restraint. ‎You have consistently promoted unity in diversity, peaceful coexistence, making Keffi Emirate, a home for all.

‎”Your commitment to the vulnerable and to ensure access to dignity, opportunity, and social support, reflects a deep understanding of leadership as service

“Everybody is here to pray for you and strengthen the bond of friendship, So thank Allah for the blessings showered on you as emir for the past ten years.

“As we are gathered here, we pray to Allah to take us back to our various destinations safely and bring us back to mark the 20 years, 30 years and 40 years of the fifteenth emir of Keffi,” said the Vice President

The celebrant, Emir of Keffi said, “This day is not just to mark the 10th anniversary of my ascension to the throne of my forefathers, but also an opportunity to reflect on the life of my late father, Alhaji Muhammadu Yamusa II, late Emir of Keffi.

“I will continue prioritizing the welfare of Keffi people and promised to continue to work hard for the development of Keffi emirate council, the state and the country.

“I thank those that graced the occasion, those that sent their goodwill messages and everybody for the success of this event and calls in the people to strive towards growth and development of the country,” said Emir of Keffi.
