2026 WCQ: Super Eagles will find a way to beat Gabon – Chelle

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle has declared his team’s readiness for the clash the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs tie with Gabon, DAILY POST reports.

The playoffs semi-final tie is slated for Morocco on Thursday, 13.

The winner will face either Cameroon or Democratic Republic of Congo in the final.

Gabon has a number of top quality players in their team, including Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

Chelle said he would fashion out a way of stopping their opponent.

“I can tell you that they have a very good coach with good philosophy. This is the finals and the most important thing is for us to focus on our team,” Chelle said in an interview with Eagle FM.

“My job now is to analyse Gabon, and to think about the way we must approach the game. Maybe I will like to defend for the entire 90 minutes of the game or I will increase the pressure on the players.”
